Fundraisers
Lee's Marketplace participates in many different fundraisers, along with hosting local fundraisers for non-profits within their communities.
Since 2015, Lee's Marketplace has participated in the nationwide Great American Milk Drive in association with the Dairy Council of Utah/Nevada. During the drive, all locations take donations for gallons of milk that will later be available to the Local Food Banks. This program allows local food banks to order and receive milk throughout the year as often as it is needed.
Every year since 2014, Lee's has hosted their annual Food Drive. Throughout the years, this has been a wonderful fundraiser for the local food banks within the community. During the drive, Lee's guests donate monetary amounts that will be kept within their local communities. Throughout the year, food banks can order food from the thousands of dollars' worth of donations, depending on their needs.
Lee's partners with a local non-profit charitable organization, The Family Place, throughout the year. The Family Place offers counseling, workshops for the family, classes, family-focused events, a safe place for kids, as well as a crisis shelter to the communities of Northern Utah. Since 2008, on father's day weekend, Lee's hosts a car show at the Logan location. During the event, all proceeds from the food, product, and raffle tickets go towards the Family Place. Year by year, the event gets bigger and earns more and more for such an amazing cause.
Cookout for a Cure happens each year during the Lee's Marketplace Annual Summer Food Show. All proceeds from this grilling event go towards research for the cure of ALS, a cause near and dear to the hearts of all of those who work for Lee's Marketplace.
