ALS Golf Tournament
The golf tournament was created shortly after Lee's founder, Lee Badger, was diagnosed with the debilitating disease ALS. After Lee's passing in August of 2009, the tournament has continued to grow in memory of his legacy.
Every year vendors, friends, and family are invited to participate in the golf tournament to help raise money for the cause. Lee's also reaches out to those within the community who have been affected by ALS to participate, and share in the support.
A large portion of the proceeds from the tournament goes towards research at the Brain Chemistry Labs that are based out of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The institute has tirelessly worked for years, researching the causes of ALS, hoping to one day bring us closer to a cure.
Throughout the year, the rest of the proceeds go in small portion to members of the community who are sufferings with the effects of ALS or have found themselves in need.
