Sautéed Portobello Mushroom Burger
Ingredients:
1 lb. Certified Angus 85/15 Ground Beef
1 lb. Portobello Mushroom (sliced)
1 tbsp. Shallot (finely chopped)
3 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
Swiss Cheese
Mayo or Aioli
Lettuce (shredded)
Brioche hamburger buns
Directions:
- In a pan on a medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic and shallots for 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Add mushrooms and sauté until tender. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
- Heat a grill to medium high.
- Divide ground beef into 8 equal balls. Flatten and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Grill to desired doneness and add swiss cheese onto patty in the pan. Once cheese is melted, remove from heat.
- Top brioche bun with lettuce, mayo/aioli, patty and sauteed mushrooms.
- Serve and Enjoy!
