Meet the Team: Amber

What do you get when you combine a friendly personality, a mother of three, a charcoal artist, and outdoors fanatic? Our fantastic grocery manager, Amber!

Amber, Grocery Manager in North Salt Lake

Amber has worked for Lee's for a year and a half as the grocery manager in the North Salt Lake location. She loves working in this position because there is always something to do; as someone who loves to stay busy, this is key.

This year as Lee's Marketplace hosted its annual Night of Excellence, Amber was recognized for excellence in the core value of Team. "A manager without their team standing beside them is not a manager at all," Amber reflected upon receiving this award. "A team is willing to help everyone and everything whether it's in their department or not. Without a team, there is no way a business would run."

Amber's store director, Jake, saw Amber's priority of teamwork and had the following to say about her:

"Amber always goes out of her way to make everyone feel like they are part of the team. She is everyone's cheerleader, and regularly buys donuts for the team as a thank you. Amber is a great example of a team player."

Without wonderful team members contributing together, Lee's wouldn't be Lee's. Lee's is grateful for each team member that, like Amber, shows up every day committed to helping the rest of the team and guests as well.
